💥 A Fighter Built from Hardship

Mix’s life story is as gritty as his fighting style. Born prematurely at just 680 grams, doctors didn’t expect him to survive. Throughout his childhood, he remained undersized and struggled with poverty. He used to sell his school lunch for $1 to buy his mother a bottle of milk, and even took part in $20 street fights organized by older kids who paid to watch schoolboys scrap for fun.

Things changed in 8th grade when Mix took up wrestling. Within a few years, he became the first wrestler from his school in 40 years to qualify for nationals.

🧠 Ground Game Genius — With a Chin of Steel

Mix is a submission artist with 13 finishes on the ground, but don’t let that fool you — he’s also well-rounded. His striking has come a long way, and his durability is proven: he’s never been finished in a fight.

And now, he enters the UFC in his prime, with size, skills, and experience — a rare combination. At 5’11”, Mix will be one of the tallest and most physically imposing bantamweights in the UFC — drawing comparisons to a Tyson Fury-like frame for the weight class.

🔍 What This Means for the UFC Bantamweight Division

The bantamweight division is arguably the deepest and most competitive in the UFC right now. Adding Mix — a dominant, versatile, and battle-tested champion from Bellator — only raises the stakes.

The big question now: How will Patchy Mix fare against the UFC’s elite?

We’re about to find out.
