It’s a special week as fan-favorite Dustin Poirier prepares to make the walk for one final time, in a trilogy fight against Max Holloway. Having trained with Moicano for years, this retirement fight certainly hits home on Show Me The Money.

UFC Nashville delivered explosive action throughout the entire card. Derrick Lewis scored a 35-second knockout over Tallison Teixeira in the heavyweight main event.
Gabriel Bonfim outpointed Stephen Thompson in a controversial welterweight co-main event, with many questioning the decision. Steve Garcia impressed with a unanimous decision win over Calvin Kattar, while Vitor Petrino and Tuco Tokkos both secured quick submissions, contributing to a night full of finishes.

🔸 Ben Askren
UFC alumn Ben Askren has been in a medically induced coma for over 40-days after a staph infection turned into necrotic pneumonia. Clinging to life, Ben Askren himself FINALLY gave fans a VERY HOPEFUL update.
To make an incredibly long story short, Askren is awake from his coma after successfully receiving a double lung transplant. Down over 50 pounds since his hospitalization, Askren’s appearence shocked many fans. Despite a hellish month, Askren is hopeful for his future and tells fans that the recovery process is officially underway.
Askren was grateful for all of the fan support more than anything. Prayers to Ben Askren and his family as he starts his long road to recovery!

Moicano recounts a great story of Poirier sparring him back in the day. He laughs and admits that Poirier even caught him with a patented guillotine choke.
The two have been teammates for a long time at American Top Team in Florida. Both athletes only spend part of their time at ATT, but when they do they make sure to get rounds in with each other.
