🔸 UFC 318
At UFC 318 in New Orleans, Max Holloway defeated Dustin Poirier via unanimous decision in a thrilling lightweight main event, successfully defending his BMF title. The fight marked Poirier’s retirement, concluding a legendary 14-year UFC career with 22 wins, tying for fifth-most in UFC history.
Despite the loss, Poirier was celebrated with a tribute video and emotional sendoff, leaving the Octagon to Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” after a hard-fought trilogy bout. Thank you Dustin Poirier, simply & sincerely put.

After revealing that he didn’t accept the UFC lawsuit money, Renato Moicano received some backlash online from fighters, fans, and everyone in between.
